Horse Medical Stay

Short term self-care horse boarding $25 per night, per horse, with a licensed veterinary technician and/or veterinarian available to assess your horse and help you make appropriate medical care decisions (assessment is included in boarding fee, veterinary exam/treatment recommendations are additional if needed).

Small Animal Medical Boarding

We provide an environment safe for your pet when their medical care exceeds what can be managed at home. Specifically, intensive care patients such as stage 3 or 4 cancer or complex serious medical issues that either require hospitalization or intense one on one focus can be housed at our facility for weeks to months. (Most situations are a 2-3 week program). This is a private and limited service essentially equivalent to a private doctor and nursing care. Dr. Backus has owned her clinic property facility for 18 years and has stewarded the land naturally, never spraying chemicals, using natural cleaning products and ozone generators inside the building and plant based paint. Kanab is an excellent medical tourism opportunity and you and your animals can benefit from a private arrangement.

Please know that a veterinary medical consultation and treatments services are completely separate services from housing and supportive care and are treated and compensated as such. We will pre-arrange a package that reflects the particular situation.
